Well, we are less than a week away from the big ol party! This Sunday Miss Pipes will be 1 whole year old. Lucky little girl got a present sent to her from Kuwait this last weekend, and we can't wait to open it to see what it is!! Were almost half way through the deployment now! Thank God! We miss our Boodie so, so much everyday. I can't wait to just get a hug and to see his face when I talk to him. And most of all, I can't wait for Piper and her daddy to see each other and for him to see just how big his little girl is getting. This morning we were watching Sprout before we got out of bed, and they were singing "If your happy and you know it" and when they clapped their hands, she clapped her hands! And when they stomped their feet, well she did that too! And to top it all off, when they yelled horray, by golly she was right on top of that one you gotta know! Smarty pants. Well, we are coming up fast to someones 1st birthday here in a few weeks! And we are also getting ready to go to England to visit out friend Vicky to on the 13th! That should be so much fun! We have had a few super hot days here, which for us is not the norm. Poor Brent though has been having it even hotter, so cant really complain! Hope that you all are enjoying your summer!!

Piper cracks me up with how smart she is! I got up to get some more coffee, and she put this piece of mail in her mail carrier and is pushing it all around the house! She is obviously feeling better, her fever is gone, and her bumps are still here, but no new ones today, so that's great! She also now says "thank you" and when we play patty cake, she rolls it! Oh those chunker monker arms rolling it is just to damn cute I tell ya! She also likes to wave when we say hi or goodbye now too. She will be 11 months tomorrow and I just don't even know where the time has gone. She is loving to learn about what all the body parts are and really studies people and how they talk and act. She mocks me all the time! Guess I need to start watching myself now too! Don't need her saying something naughty now do we?!?! ;-)

Well, Poor Booga got a icky virus called hand foot and mouth. She has had a nasty fever this weekend and is back to only wanting to breast feed. Turns out she has soars in her throat and all over her body. The fever should only last 4-5 days and the rash will go away in about 10. She is not a happy camper. A couple other shots are of her nicely painted toes done by Gma Taylor and her just walking around the house. She does not crawl anymore, cause she is just too cool for school! We have talked to Brent, and he is hot as all get out, with the temps reaching in the 140's! UGH! But he is doing well and working hard as always. We miss him so so much and I think about him all day, everyday. I count down the days till he gets to come back home and we are a family once again. Hope you all are enjoying the nice sunshine that we have been able to have lately!

Well, here are a few new shots from Piper this last week. She is just a little lovie she is! Not too much crawling anymore, mostly walking everywhere! Lord help me. But, Brent is doing really well. Weather is frickin hot, he said it was 150 degrees today! Oh hell to tha nah!! Poor love! But he is finally starting to work for what he was training for the last 3 months for, so that is nice. We miss him terribly every day. Piper goes up to his pictures and "pets" him and coos as she looks at him. Makes me sad, but it is very sweet. Hope all is well with all of you and yours!

Well, Brent left yesterday and he should be arriving anytime now to his new home for the next 8 months. Hoping to hear from him to know he arrived safely, but know we may not. Got some cute pics from Pipes over the last couple of days! Including her new USMC lil onsie we got her down at MCRD. I will keep this updated if we hear anything new from Brent!
