San Diego visit before Brents deployment

We had a great time going down to San Diego for 12 days being able to spend some time with Brent before he leaves this Wednesday. We went to Sea World, spent some time at Seaport Village, toured the Midway, went to Downtown Disney and just had some great quality time together. It was great for Brent to see just how much in the last 2.5 months how much Piper has changed and to play with her since she is just so much fun now! We love Brent so much and cant wait for the next 8 months to fly by (we hope) so that we can be a family all together once again!

Sleeping so sweet!

Well, Miss Piper Lynn is gonna be 9 months old next week! Cant believe how fast this time has gone by! She is crawling everywhere, standing all on her own and wanting to walk and is trying so badly to know how. She is just the sweetest little love. Her hair that fell out is growing in like mad! She has been yelling MOM at me this last week instead of momma! Brent has been gone for a month now, man that has flown by too! I cant wait to see him in July before he heads overseas. He is gonna be shocked at how much piper has changed! We love and miss him every second of everyday!!!

Well, yesterday was mothers day and we had a lovely day. Spent a great morning over at Kyle and Shaylee's for brunch with both their parents and so much yummy food! And then headed over to my folks for the rest of the afternoon. Wish Brent could have been here to share my first official mothers day with us, but its all good. There was so much love to go around! Hope you all had a wonderful mothers day as well!!

Early Mothers Day fun!!

Had a lovely brunch with a few of my cousins and one of my Aunties at the Salish Lodge today. My cousin Maegan treated us to a wonderful brunch with lovely food, wonderful gifts and warm conversation. I'm so lucky to have such amazing loved ones I tell ya! Here is a few pics from our day!

Eight months old! (A day late!)

Well, Miss. Piper Lynn turned 8 months old yesterday! She is just a smidge under 20 pounds, has 10 teeth, 6 on top and 4 on bottom, and has now learned to pull herself up onto furniture! I got some shots above here, not in enough time to catch her pulling herself up, but just as she got up. I ordered a video recorder this week to start catching more stuff now that Brent has left. He is in San Diego and doing well. He will be there till July and then off to Iraq he goes. We will beable to go see him in July before he leaves and wont see him till next year. We miss him so much, but are so proud of him and everything that he is doing. We love you Dad!!!
